Extreme Karting is played inside your web browser. There's nothing to download and install!

Just click the play button on the previous page to start playing. You'll see a grey window in the center of the screen. After a few minutes (maybe longer depending on your computer speed and connection rate) the main menu will appear.

Use the up and down arrow keys to choose an option and the return key on your keyboard to select. The options are as follows:

• Championship - This is the real thing. Take on three of the hottest drivers, it's three laps round each circuit. You'll need to come first or second place to advance to the next track. Can you become the Extreme Karting champion?
• Practice - Practice three laps round a track. Learn where each and every bend is, as you'll need it when you take on the championship. You can practice any track except The Final.
• Options - This lets you turn the sound effects on and off, and also adjust the graphical detail - useful on slower computers.

During the game, use the up arrow key to accelerate, the down arrow key to brake, and the left and right arrow keys to steer.

Use the space bar to use your current bonus item, which is shown in a box in the bottom right of your screen.
